  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) for a crispy crust.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
  • Brush the rolled-out dough with extra virgin olive oil, then layer on slices of fresh mozzarella.
  • Scatter halved cherry tomatoes over the mozzarella, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, looking for bubbling cheese and a golden crust.
  • After baking, add fresh basil leaves and drizzle balsamic glaze on top.

Notes

Feel free to customize by swapping mozzarella for burrata or adding grilled vegetables. For a bit of heat, add crushed red pepper before baking.
