  • 1 large Egg Yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract pure extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour high-quality flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • optional Food Coloring gel-based preferred

Instructions

Cookie Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Incorporate the egg yolk and vanilla extract into the butter-sugar mix, beating well until blended.
  • Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then fold into the wet ingredients.
  • Add food coloring if desired and mix to achieve your preferred shade.
  • Shape the cookies using a cookie press or piping bag and place them on baking sheets.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
