For the Rolls

  • 1 package Pizza Dough Use pre-made for convenience
  • 1/2 cup Pesto Sauce Fresh basil pesto preferred
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese Fresh mozzarella for best results
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated for topping
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For brushing before baking

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1/2 cup Spicy Pepper Jack Cheese Can replace mozzarella for added flavor
  • 1/4 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes Chopped and mixed with cheese

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the pizza dough to about ¼ inch thickness on a floured surface.
  • Spread the basil pesto sauce evenly across the rolled-out dough.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the pesto.
  • Roll the dough into a tight log from one end.
  • Slice the roll into 1-inch pieces and arrange them on the baking sheet. Brush with olive oil.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve with marinara sauce for dipping for extra flavor.
