  • 1/2 cup Butter melted

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese full-fat and softened
  • 3/4 cup Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream essential for tangy creaminess
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract opt for pure vanilla
  • 3 large Eggs room temperature

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Crumble sugar cookies into fine crumbs and combine them with melted butter until damp. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
  • Beat the softened cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix well. Stir in sour cream and vanilla, then add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter onto the prepared crust and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the edges are set and the center jiggles.
