How to Make Dad’s Rich Creamy Cheesy Au Gratin

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Thinly slice about four medium Yukon Gold potatoes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Grease a baking dish and layer half of the sliced potatoes on the bottom. Pour half of the cream mixture and half of the shredded cheese over the potatoes. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  • Mix panko breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over the last layer.
  • Bake for about 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes
